Spring love songs

It hit 80F today! We had to bring out our fans from the storage, which means winter is “officially” over in Seattle haha. I can count the number of people I know that own AC on one hand, because it doesn’t usually get hot enough to justify the installation costs. Fans usually suffice if windows don’t cut it :P. SO! I thought I’d celebrate the weather change with an OOTD!
About 2 weeks ago I went shopping for a new pair of jeans (which I’ll make a post about soon), and I bought this really cute top for work. It’s kind of annoying that most business casual tops these days are chiffon or other very-sheer fabric, because I have to buy more tanktops + camisoles to wear underneath — but it’ll be perfect for California! I’m a big fan of polka dots and subtle ruffles and flounces, so I instantly fell in love with this one!

The smaller polka dot prints are so cute!
The collar has two layers of gentle ruffles along the edge, tied together in the front with matching string.
ahhh we’re still unpacking so the only free space I could find was in the kitchen, haha!
When I got this skirt from BAIMOMO, I was a little (a lot) disappointed that the color is so yellow, and less white than it looked online…  I can’t wear any of my cream cardigans with it! 🙁 I might try to dye it a different color sometime, but we’ll have to see. I have this same skirt in a rose pink, which I love to pieces. Although fall and winter are my favorite seasons for fashion (earthtones and layers ♥ ♥ ♥!) I’m excited to be able to wear all of my more airy and feminine clothes, too!
