Victoria, BC: The Butchart Gardens

Back in 1904, with the North American cement industry thriving, Robert and Jennie Butchart moved from their home in Ontario to the west coast for its rich limestone deposits. There, they developed a quarry in order to facilitate the demand for Portland cement. Near their quarry and cement plant, they also established their home. These were […]

A weekend in Victoria, BC

Before Daniel left for Japan, we wanted to take a trip to Victoria, BC. I’ve only been to Vancouver, so I was really excited to go! It is surprisingly very easy to travel to Victoria from Seattle, thanks to the Victoria Clipper rides. I spent 5 years watching the boats come and go from class, […]

Entiat, WA: Lake Chelan

We woke up bright and early today to go down to Lake Chelan! I loved how the light was resting on the curtains, so I snapped a quick photo before going downstairs. Jeanie’s mom’s made bulgogi for the trip prior, so we ate that for breakfast with rice. It was soooo good. We had a […]

Entiat, WA: Day 1

This week was the beginning of our camping trip out in Entiat! We got on the road at around 7:30-8PM. I’ve been having issues with motion sickness lately so I took dramamine and immediately knocked out for the whole 3-hour drive (whoops!) I was able to snap some pictures when I did wake up, but […]

Cosplay Adjustments: Saber – Haregi ver.

It is as close to the figure as I feel I’ll ever get. So today’s post was just a minor adjustment I made in something already exemplary.

A Trip to Tulip Town

April showers is quite the understatement for Seattle this year, having broken its rainfall record for the second year in a row. We’ve gotten over 44in of rainfall between October and April! But with the rain comes beautiful, lush greens, and, naturally, gorgeous flowers for viewing. In the spirit of that, my mom, Liz, and […]

Sakuracon: Day 0

After prepping and packing for the con, I met up with my friends for dinner at Pike Place Market! It was super windy, but the setting sun was gorgeous, so we walked around while waiting for our table. Seattle is filled with all sorts of quirky graffiti haha. Chan is always a safe dinner plan, […]

Cosplay Progress: Rin Okumura II

Some progress updates/fixes for my Rin cosplays!! Styled his wig a lot better — it’s less of a sweaty mop! hahaha. I really want to do Rin’s Kyoto Saga arc, so I bought his shirt and sweats today! I wonder if Rin is an Ad*das fan, because that’s where I got both of them haha. […]
